Boydton, VA

Creative Electrical Contractors, Inc., partnered with Kenbridge Construction Company to complete additions and renovations to the historic Williams and Goode Bank Building in Boydton, VA.  The Williams and Goode Bank was built in 1908, with a Neo-Classical design not typical in rural Virginia.  In 2000 the interior was destroyed by a fire, and after some discussion the residents of Boydton argued to save it because it is a major contributor to the town’s nationally listed historic district.  They decided to rebuild the interior, using the existing façade.  CEC completed their renovations and additions in 2002.
