Completed in 2007 the home to Longwood University Softball is, Lancer Field! Lancer Field is one of the finest intercollegiate softball facilities in Virginia, and seats approximately 300 with an air-conditioned press box, full field drainage, an automatic sprinkler system, in-ground dugouts, permanent lighting, warning track, and a batting cage. The in-ground dugouts at the facility are built with a natural wood grain finish, restroom, bat rack, and water fountain.
