Cumberland, VA

Creative Electrical Contractors, Inc., partnered with R.J. Leipertz Jr., Inc. to complete 13 cabins and a meeting facility at Bear Creek State Park in Cumberland, VA.  CEC did all the electrical work for the cabins, meeting facility and pathways as well as the fire alarm system.  The cabins are equipped with: Kitchen (electric range/oven, refrigerator, microwave), dining area, living room, bathroom. The other bedrooms and bathrooms are not universally accessible.  The cabins are also heated and air-conditioned with heat pump and have a washer and dryer. Bear Creek Lake State Park is a state park located in Cumberland, Virginia. It is used as a recreational and camping facility that surrounds an artificial 30-acre lake situated in the 16,000-acre Cumberland State Forest.  This project began in September 2004 and was completed in July 2006.
