Scheduling a project can be very easy or quite complicated. Duration of tasks and scheduling with other trades while meeting our contractual obligations can be difficult at times. We start a project by doing a brief synopsis of everything involved. One must have an understanding of the construction process and build a schedule to meet these obligations. We always try to leave a little float in our schedules due to unknown problems that can arise during the construction process. We do not live in an ideal world, thus schedules without flexibility are an invitation for disaster.
